I Made a Weed Video Chat Site Because Nobody Stopped Me

I Built a Weed Video Chat Site as a Joke. It’s Real Now. Come Hang.

This started as a goof.

I mean that. TheWeedVlog — theweedvlog.com — a 21+ live video chat platform for cannabis people, is a thing that exists because I thought it was a funny idea and then just kept building it instead of stopping.

And look, I know what you’re thinking. I know what happened to Omegle. I know what Chatroulette turned into. I’m aware of the risks. The site could absolutely become exactly what you’re imagining right now, and if it does, I’ll deal with that when I get there.

But that’s not what I built it for.

I built it because we won legalization, dispensaries are everywhere, and somehow the weed community still doesn’t really have a place to just hang out together online. Not scroll. Not post. Hang out. Like actually sit there, light something, and vibe with other people who aren’t going to look at you sideways for it.

We all experience moments of loneliness or the simple desire for connection, and those two things are not as different as people pretend.

So there’s rooms. There’s live video. There’s a forum. There’s a vibe system so you can try to match with someone who’s on the same frequency, or at least the same temperature. It’s 21+, verified, and the whole point is community, not commerce. Nobody’s selling you anything. It’s just a place to be.

The CLN audience knows better than most how long this fight took and who actually paid for it. We didn’t do all that just to sit alone in our apartments being legal. Come find your people.

Miguel a.k.a Miggy420

Miguel "Miggy420" is a cannabis activist, journalist, and media producer whose advocacy work spans more than two decades. His introduction to the cannabis reform movement came before he was old enough to drive — donating to organizations like NORML and GreenPeace, and supporting the congressional campaign of Keiko Bonk after reading about her in High Times. He went on to help gather signatures for California's Proposition 215, the landmark 1996 medical cannabis initiative that opened the door to legalization across the United States. After serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy, Miguel returned to civilian life in 2007 and immediately resumed his advocacy, building the Miggy420 identity into a recognized voice in cannabis reform. He has been cited by KOMO News (ABC Seattle) as a community voice on medical cannabis access, published in Northwest Leaf magazine, written for organizations including The Human Solution International and Freedom Grow, and contributed cannabis journalism to multiple platforms throughout the 2010s. Today Miguel serves as Co-Host and Editor at Cannabis Legalization News, one of the leading cannabis policy podcasts and YouTube channels in the United States, where he brings his boots-on-the-ground activist perspective to coverage of federal and state legalization developments. He is also the founder of TouchGrass / theweedvlog.com, a 21+ cannabis social community platform. Find him on X at @Miggy110100100, on Instagram @miggy420lives, and on YouTube @miggy420.
