They were big supporters of me and I will never forget the hug Jim gave me when I walked off the main stage.

So, What makes Timothy Edwards a.k.a. Tim-Me the most featured artist nationally at Hempfest? I took my brand and message to 6 Hempfest’s and 15 states across the country independently.

Seattle 2014-2019

Olympia 2014-2015

Las Vegas 2015

Oregon 2017

Oklahoma 2018

Boise 2018-2019

One of my biggest honors in life was to be associated with the Cannabis movement and this festival. That is why I created this title.

All awards are paid for in the industry, so I bought the only award that mattered to me… My legacy. My contribution to the movement. This is a monument of what I brought to the Earth and to the people.

It is also out of respect for those that influenced me and brought the movement before I came to the stage. It is also something I hope inspires the next generation to go out and do something with their life. To contribute to the better of humanity.

There is nothing wrong with having awards and being proud of the things you have accomplished. But the things you do matter much more than the piece of jewelry you symbolically attach it to. This is my piece of jewelry and my piece of creative art. I carry it with humility and with pride. The balance is not easy, but I am the reigning and defending champion. And I have given my life to the industry to share my story and help bring worldwide legalization.

I hope one day that people around the world can medicate and choose cannabis saves lives over pharmaceuticals that bring death.

Miguel a.k.a Miggy420

Miguel "Miggy420" is a cannabis activist, journalist, and media producer whose advocacy work spans more than two decades. His introduction to the cannabis reform movement came before he was old enough to drive — donating to organizations like NORML and GreenPeace, and supporting the congressional campaign of Keiko Bonk after reading about her in High Times. He went on to help gather signatures for California's Proposition 215, the landmark 1996 medical cannabis initiative that opened the door to legalization across the United States. After serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy, Miguel returned to civilian life in 2007 and immediately resumed his advocacy, building the Miggy420 identity into a recognized voice in cannabis reform. He has been cited by KOMO News (ABC Seattle) as a community voice on medical cannabis access, published in Northwest Leaf magazine, written for organizations including The Human Solution International and Freedom Grow, and contributed cannabis journalism to multiple platforms throughout the 2010s. Today Miguel serves as Co-Host and Editor at Cannabis Legalization News, one of the leading cannabis policy podcasts and YouTube channels in the United States, where he brings his boots-on-the-ground activist perspective to coverage of federal and state legalization developments. He is also the founder of TouchGrass / theweedvlog.com, a 21+ cannabis social community platform. Find him on X at @Miggy110100100, on Instagram @miggy420lives, and on YouTube @miggy420.
